Tanay Thyagarajan took 11 wickets in the match as Hyderabad beat Andhra by 267 runs in the Ranji Trophy at Mulapadu. Kodimela Himateja’s unbeaten 123 rebuilt Hyderabad’s second innings from 101 for 5, and Andhra, set 398, were bowled out for 130.
Mulapadu, India: Hyderabad won the toss, chose to bat and spent four days making sure Andhra never found a way back into the match. Andhra’s chase of 398 had become a fight for survival by the final morning, and Tanay Thyagarajan made sure it ended in a heavy defeat.
