A platform built on day one
The foundation was laid on the opening day, when Priyansh Arya made 199 off 220 balls and added 234 with Badoni for the fourth wicket. Arya fell one short of a double century, but the partnership had already set Delhi up for a huge total.
Badoni goes big

Gujarat’s long road back
Gujarat had to bat for 35 overs before stumps and ended the day on 98 for 2, 550 runs behind. They will need to bat deep to avoid an innings defeat.
