Valverde, Güler and Mbappé score as Real Madrid win 3-0 at Valencia for an eighth straight victory

Federico Valverde and Arda Güler scored before half-time and Kylian Mbappé added a third as Real Madrid won 3-0 at Valencia’s Mestalla, with José Gayà sent off late. Madrid have won eight in a row and are level on 30 points with Barcelona.

Valencia, Spain: Real Madrid made the most of their chances at Mestalla. Two goals in eight first-half minutes broke Valencia, a third on the counter finished them, and a late red card for Gayà made the final stretch routine.

Valverde from the rebound

Valencia had the first real chance. Aaron Mayol’s shot around the 20th minute forced Thibaut Courtois into a stretching save. Madrid took the lead in the 28th minute. Mbappé’s free kick hit the wall, the ball ran loose, and Valverde drilled a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Bellingham’s pull-back, Güler’s finish

Eight minutes later it was two. Jude Bellingham reached the byline and pulled the ball back, it took a deflection, and Güler finished first time with his right foot.

Mbappé seals it, Gayà goes

The third came in the 75th minute on the break. Güler ran onto the ball and played a pass through for Mbappé, who rounded goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski and finished into the empty net. It extended his scoring run to seven consecutive matches. Four minutes later, Gayà was sent off for fouling Mbappé as he was through on goal again.

Dimitrievski had earlier made several saves, including one from Güler before half-time, which kept Valencia in the game for longer than the scoreline suggests.

Level at the top

It was Madrid’s eighth consecutive win across all competitions, following Valverde’s stoppage-time winner at AEK Athens in the Champions League and a 3-0 win at Racing Santander in La Liga. The result lifted José Mourinho’s side to 30 points, level with Barcelona, who play Atlético Madrid on Sunday.

Result: Valencia 0, Real Madrid 3 (La Liga, Matchday 12, Mestalla, 7 November 2026; half-time 0-2). Madrid: Valverde 28’, Güler 36’, Mbappé 75’. Sent off: José Gayà (Valencia) 79’.
