Her absence now opens a question that extends well beyond the Hundred: whether she can recover in time to feature for India when the continental tournament gets under way.

Rodrigues had contributed meaningfully for Southern Brave before her tournament ended prematurely. Across six innings, she scored 143 runs at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 131.19 — numbers that reflected a batter operating with both intent and control.
